This family home provides a peaceful sanctuary, surrounded by beautiful nature and conveniently situated near famous wineries and gourmet destinations. It offers a comfortable getaway for families who seek a relaxing vacation, with approximately six acres of land that feature majestic eucalyptus forests, a stunning swimming pool, a gym pod, and well-maintained gardens.

Escape to a luxurious retreat and enjoy breathtaking views, a solar-heated pool, a fully-equipped exercise pod, fresh produce, and an enchanting hen house. Perfect for couples and families, you can dine indoors or outdoors, surrounded by charming decor and grape vines. The living room boasts floor-to-ceiling glass and a cozy fireplace, creating the perfect relaxing ambience. The kitchen is ideal for entertaining guests, and the peaceful surroundings provide a tranquil getaway that includes wifi.

Sleeps 6: Quality linen and cleaning services are provided. However, we ask that you bring your beach towels.

Mezzanine Level: a few steps above the living space.
Room 1: Main King room, garden-pool view, robe.
Room 2: Queen Room, garden views, robe.
Room 3: King Room, garden views.

Bathroom 1: The family bathroom includes a large bath, a shower, and a toilet.
Bathroom 2: Shower and toilet - located in the laundry.

Please note that the dam is unfenced, 30 feet from the property's rear door.

Central ducted heating and ceiling fans and split system heating and cooling are available. However, the home is well insulated and keeps to a comfortable temperature during the summer months.

Pets are not permitted at this property. The property is not fully fenced. Additionally, there are pet-laying hens in the garden.
The property is entirely private. However, it is situated over a driveway next to the owner's part-time residence, giving guests full privacy during their stays.
Parties, large gatherings, events or schoolies are prohibited from the property.
A refundable security bond is required.
Direct arrival access is available; bookings will receive the access information on the day of arrival.
As part of our terms and conditions, an online Guest Registration form must be completed with a signature and a valid driver's licence.

The pool, privacy and an idyllic patio, pour into the Australian bush and relax for as much time as possible—season with tranquillity and a touch of home. Seriously, it is the most beautiful and relaxing place to stay—an absolute MUST.

Staying at Scribbleswood is the best.

The property is in a tucked-away valley, it feels very private and secluded. The house is surrounded by a beautiful garden, orchard on one side, lawn, veggie patch and dam on the other. The living area is beautiful and light.
This is a house where people cook, so the kitchen has everything you need.
The pool is of course a wonderful bonus, and I really enjoyed using the gym pod for some exercise and having a swim after!
The well-stocked Red Hill shops are nearby, and the beach isn’t far either.

All I can say is… WOW!!! Having our OWN PRIVATE POOL in Red Hill

Surrounded by a generous orchard and veggie garden, with access to freshly laid eggs every day! What heavenly bliss. Glorious cafes and vineyards nearby, relaxing in front of the fireplace and very rejuvenating sleep in super-comfy beds. I will book again; they are great hosts, can highly recommend them.

The fabulous kitchen will make you want to cook using the orchard and veggie garden offerings. And the huge bath and outdoor shower! OMG!

For us, staying at Scribbleswood means welcoming every day with a deep sense of calm. The generosity of scale with floor to ceiling windows, super comfy beds, natural light, high ceilings and the expansive vista of lush green - all seem to slow time. We loved so many aspects of our stay - the pool, wildlife, garden, gym, and orchard all demand that your phones go away.
