Escape to this enchanting holiday home that exudes charm and character. Impeccably renovated, it seamlessly blends modern comfort with historic elegance. Admire the high ceilings, the timber French doors that lead to a covered deck, and the original timber windows with operating louvre doors. Experience the perfect balance of old-world charm and contemporary luxury.
As you enter, you feel the warmth with polished floorboards, an oversized cosy couch, a place to sit and relax, open the French doors to bring the outside in or, on a cold night, light the fire and relax with a book. This home has a ducted refrigerated heating and cooling system, so you’ll always feel comfortable at any time of the year.
The lounge leads through to a fully renovated kitchen designed for people who love to cook, with a walk-in pantry, induction cooktop, dishwasher and electric wall oven. This is also a great spot to chat about your day, sit around the island bench and enjoy a wine or venture outside through the sliding doors to the private sunny area with the outdoor setting that seats up to 8.
The second living area is an excellent room for the kids with Smart TV (Netflix using your login), a long couch for them to spread out and French doors opening to the verandah, allowing fresh air to flow through the room. This area is part of the original home and also has a guest toilet located off the hallway near the entry, a guest bedroom with a Queen bed and French doors opening to a verandah.
In the new section of the home, you’ll find the Master bedroom tucked away with King size bed, walk-in robe and ensuite with a large shower, dual basin and toilet hidden behind a half wall. Bedrooms 2 & 3 are set up the same, each with a Tri-bunk (Queen & King Single). The main bathroom is nicely appointed with a shower, bath, vanity and toilet. The laundry is off the kitchen and has a Bosch washing machine and dryer.
The Village of Flinders and beyond has a range of amenities and attractions to suit all types of breaks. If you enjoy paddle boarding, surfing, scuba diving, fishing or rock pools, you can enjoy these activities in the area. Why not have a round of golf or visit one of the local markets, then enjoy a meal at one of the many wineries, restaurants or cafes only a short drive away.
Sleeps 10; Quality linen and cleaning services are provided. However, we ask that you bring your beach towels.

We celebrated my 50th here. After a recommendations from a friend. The house was the perfect retreat for my girlfriends and I. All amenities were well catered for, the house was very clean and The locations also made it ideal for us to see the beach and drive to the nearby wineries that we made full use of..Thankyou to the owners for making our stay so memorable. We’ll certainly be back. And will highly recommend, it will not disappoint.

We booked Mendi-Moke as a central hun for our wedding and have to say it was absolutely perfect.
All up we had 8 people staying in the 4 rooms, and not once did we feel cramped or on top of one another. The Kitchen is extremely well stocked and set up for big gatherings, with lots of plate and glassware options for all. What we really enjoyed was the peaceful nature of the location, whilst being within walking distance of the main flinders strip, it felt like we were a million miles away from everyone and everything. Would highly recommend for anyone!"

We loved our stay in Mende Moke.
The house worked perfectly for a group of six (two couples and two singles) and would comfortably take more. It has great living spaces that are warm and inviting to spend time in and garden space perfect for a game of petanque or Finska or (weather permitting) reading or lunch in the garden. We made use of the garden but also appreciated the wood heater when the weather turned and we could enjoy sitting inside with around the glow of the fire. It is perfectly situated just a short walk to the local shops or down to the pier and beach area. We had a minor problem whilst there and the owners were very responsive. Would absolutely stay there again.

This house was great for a group of friends but would also be good for a couple of families. The staff at RT Edgar were also easy to communicate with and friendly. I would definitely stay here again

Another wonderful stay at Mendi -Moke a Home away from Home
Hopefully, the headline says it all.
The property has been tastefully extended and just works for large families and two couples.
It has every amenity that we needed and is zoned so that the four of us could spread out for some quite time to read.
The property is a very short walk from the Village and it's only a short walk up the hill to King St, turn left and one comes in at the top end of the Golf Course. It's one of the best walks back to Mendi with great views and a chance to see people para-gliding when the on shore breeze is favourable.

A wonderful family holiday
We have spent many holidays in the Shoreham, Flinders area. As our family grows our needs have also grown. Our 2 weeks at Mendi Moke with our children and their families were wonderful. There was enough space for both adults and children. The facilities provided made catering for our large group a pleasure. The garden was beautiful and the children loved playing hide & seek, Finska, bocci & of course the fire pit. The size of both tables meant we we able to sit together for a meal so comfortably
