We loved our stay at Horizon Flinders!

It’s such a welcoming property. I’d arrived earlier on Friday than my two daughters, so when they walked in they commented on how much I looked at home there! And I felt that way too.
The personalised note from the owner had organised for us was very much appreciated (, as was the wine, chocolate & coffee.
My girls and I found the beds comfy and snuggly, and the small heaters in the bedroom worked really well.
A well-stocked pantry is always appreciated for the little things you forget when cooking meals and the kitchen was well equipped with everything you could think of.
The view is wonderful and I really loved the layout of the outdoor areas, even though the weather didn’t let us use them. Hoping to visit again and get to make use of those spots next time. And it was also lovely to be welcomed by such friendly staff when picking up and dropping off the key! Look forward to booking another holiday at Horizon in the future.

Beautiful location!

Fantastic host and the property is sensational. Beautiful location and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We were 3 couples - all had great bedrooms and plenty of space!

A weekend away with my mum

who flew from Sydney for the occasion. We were blown away by the location, Flinders is an unspoilt village with incredible rural and ocean vistas. The house was so warm and inviting. Very comfortable and beautifully styled, we especially loved the antique pieces. We went to amazing restaurants, but also cooked at home with the fully appointed kitchen. There was nothing we couldn’t cook and enjoyed having a meal at the gorgeous timber dining table with a view to die for that changed every 5 minutes with the all seasons weather. This house exceeded our expectations, but we knew it was always going to be good. And Emma was so delightful with communicating and making us feel welcome. We couldn’t recommend this place more highly.

A beautiful property

Stunning sea views, but only 5 minutes from a great local village centre. Lots of light, beautifully furnished and with great recommendations and detail. I think it would be lovely summer or winter. Felt like home from home from the minute we walked through the door.
