Ah the serenity !!!

We came down from Brisbane for a wedding at Lancemore Lindenderry Winery at Red Hill and spent three wonderful days at Baringa House. The location is perfect - so quiet and houses on such large allotments that when we went for walks, it was hard to even see the houses. We went for an evening walk on the Friday night to the closest beach and then another evening walk on the Saturday to one a bit further along the coast.

Baringa House is perfect for a family stay - three bedrooms, two bathrooms and a large open plan living area. We sat on the verandah the first evening with a glass of red wine and couldn't hear anything but birds and the distant sound of the ocean. It's also located close to lots of wineries and local food stores.

On the Saturday morning we looked up local markets and saw there was one at nearby Red Hill. When we arrived we could hear cows mooing and it turned out to be their annual show. So that was an added bonus.

If you are coming down for a wedding at Lancemore Lindenderry Winery, this is the perfect place to stay. Only a 20 minute drive away. We can't recommend it more highly and would definitely return.

In the immortal words of The Castle - Ah the serenity !!!

“We loved our stay at Baringa House"

It’s a perfect location to explore the peninsula from. At night we enjoyed the cozy wood-fired fireplace and comfy couches. Next time my family visits the area we will definitely be back.

A beautifully decorated, centrally located, quiet home with thoughtful amenities throughout.

The super comfortable lounge area and well-stocked kitchen made our family stay very comfortable. So close to the beach and only a few minutes walk to a lovely café. Loved the large garden and fire pit. Five-minute drive to the nearest winery for lunch! Can’t recommend it more highly for a peaceful family holiday. Would not hesitate to return!

It really felt like we were staying in a home - Very Impressed!

We were really impressed with the location of the house, it’s layout, style and amenities.
So close to the beach in a wonderful, tranquil setting where we just loved to sit on the deck, enjoy a glass of local wine and watch all the local bird life and fauna.

It was fantastic to be on the doorstep of so many world class wineries, their restaurants and providores.
To return to Baringa house, cook and dine and laugh and relax, and sleep well with the sound of the sea coming up from the coast was such a wonderful treat.

It’s close to Flinders and all its stores and eateries.
I’m looking forward to a hit of golf, if we return.
