Selling Mornington Peninsula Luxury Property
With James Redfern
What has been happening in the luxury property market recently?
The luxury property market is now seeing an increase in supply and activity. The interest is there for special offerings, whether coastal or rural. This is a switch from the winter period which saw fewer properties being offered.
Do buyers choose a particular type of property or do they search in a price point?
Buyers in the luxury property market search based on the property, location, outlooks and lifestyle. It is not price driven. Should a buyer find a property that meets all their requirements, they will see value. Often these buyers are very passive and will only look for property that has very special appeal. Whether it be a rural offering with a farm management plan, or an exclusive cliff top home overlooking Sorrento and Portsea.
What has brought these special offerings to market?
It has been a combination of factors, owners looking to scale down, and simplify life.
This is quite common with the larger semi-rural offerings. We are also seeing a number of property owners upgrading their existing home and reinvesting in the Mornington Peninsula luxury property market.
What are some of the special offerings you currently have available?
We have a diverse range of property available at the moment, from a 32 acre horse breeding facility to a minimalist 4 bedroom farm house on just under 10 acres. We also have a number of "on the quiet" opportunities as well, covering Arthurs Seat, Red Hill, Cape Schanck, Merricks and Flinders. I would recommend anyone interested in this market, to get in touch with our team to learn more about these offerings and how we can assist.
