PENINSULA PUB CRAWL

12 July 2022

The Peninsula may be known for its sprawling array of vineyards and wineries, but for those who aren’t partial to a pinot or rosé, you can sit back and sip a cold frothy beer from one of the region's well loved breweries.

So, if you’re looking for something to keep you busy during the winter months, grab your friends and hit up these iconic peninsula breweries.

St Andrews Beach Brewery

Originally built in the early 2000s as a racetrack for Australian horse racing royalty, the 92acre property was home to up to 80 thoroughbreds including former Melbourne and Caulfield Cup winners like Makybe Diva, Mummify and Alinghi.

Converted in 2015 using the original infrastructure, the team transformed the former stables and St Andrews Beach Brewery was born. They officially opened their doors in 2017 with the philosophy of brewing the Peninsula’s finest beer in their premium brewhouse. The brewery emphasises the need to minimise their environmental footprint and they are always looking for ways to improve their sustainability.

With a wide range of brews available, you won’t be disappointed in this exciting experience.
