Flinders Motoring Heritage - Stay with us and explore
The Flinders Motoring Heritage event is set to return on Easter Sunday, 2025, offering car enthusiasts and families alike a delightful day in the picturesque village of Flinders. Hosted by the Flinders District Lions Club, this annual gathering showcases a stunning array of veteran, vintage, and modern classic cars, attracting up to 200 vehicles and over 2,000 visitors in previous years.

Beyond the automotive attractions, attendees can indulge in delicious offerings from various food trucks and explore the charm of Flinders Village, renowned for its boutique shops and galleries. This year's event aims to raise funds for two significant causes: assisting Peninsula Health in acquiring a new prostate scanner and supporting the Women's Community Shelter – Moonah House Project. The new prostate scanner will enhance early detection of prostate cancer, benefiting men's health across the Mornington Peninsula.
Simultaneously, the Moonah House Project seeks to establish a shelter in Rye for women and children fleeing domestic violence, addressing a critical need in the community.
The Flinders District Lions Club, part of the global Lions Clubs International network, has a rich history of community service. Their fundraising efforts have supported various local initiatives, including significant contributions to Peninsula Health over the past five years.
The club also organises other key events such as the Annual Charity Golf Day and Junior Public Speaking programs, continually striving to make a positive impact in the region.
